8 COUNT PRODUCTIONS SIGNS WELTERWEIGHT PROSPECT FRANCISCO RINCON
8 Count Productions, HOME OF THE BEST IN CHICAGO BOXING has announced that welterweight prospect Francisco Rincon has signed an exclusive promotional agreement, it was announced today by Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions.

Rincon, a native of Coahuila, Mexico now fighting out of Dallas, Texas carries a professional record of 11 wins, 6 by knockout and 3 losses. He most recently appeared on the 8 Count Productions’ MADNESS IN MARCH event at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom on March 17th scoring a fourth round stoppage over Gilbert Venegas in a co-main event battle broadcast internationally on Telefutura’s SOLO BOXEO series.

Said Pesoli, “Francisco is a highly skilled kid, he’s only 22 and has great potential in the welterweight division. He’s almost six feet tall and his height coupled with his boxing skills and toughness should serve him well.”

“He’s fought twice on our shows; the first was a second round knockout of Fabian Luque last April at Cicero Stadium and then he stopped Gilbert Venegas two months ago. Jerry (Alfano, 8 Count matchmaker) and I along with our fans were very impressed.”

Continued Pesoli, “We’re hoping for big things from Francisco and looking forward to working with him to further his career. I’ll have an announcement of his next fight very shortly.”

Along with his stoppages over Venegas and Luque in Chicago, Francisco Rincon’s three year pro career also includes wins over welterweight prospects Frankie Figueroa and Juan Antonio Lopez. He made his pro debut at the age of 19 with a decision over Eddie Neal on August 2, 2002 in Odessa, Texas.

Francisco is also a team member of welterweight world champion Antonio Margarito’s training camps in Southern California.

8 Count Productions was started by Dominic Pesoli in 1997 and has consistently presented the highest quality professional boxing events in Chicagoland. In 2003, Pesoli along with former featherweight contender Mike Garcia opened JABB Boxing Gym, a 6,000 square foot venue dedicated to the finest Chicagoland boxers of all talent levels.

Other fighters promoted by 8 Count Productions include featherweight prospect Jose Fernandez, undefeated brothers Jorge and Jimmy Gonzalez, undefeated lightweight prospect Mike Gonzalez along with Chicagoland fan favorites junior middleweight Miguel Hernandez, middleweight Freddie Cuevas and welterweights Luciano Perez and Gilbert Venegas.

The next evening of action packed world class professional boxing presented by 8 Count Productions takes place on Friday, May 12th at the Aragon Ballroom.

The event, WAR BY THE SHORE, is presented by 8 Count Productions and Oscar De La Hoy’s Golden Boy Promotions along with Miller Lite and TCF Bank.
