  GOLDEN BOY WON THE PURSE OFFER FOR VAZQUEZ-LARIOS IV
North American Promoter “Golden Boy Promotions” of Oscar de la Hoya won today the purse offer for the WBC superbantam title bout between champion Israel Vazquez and challenger Oscar Larios, both of Mexico.

Golden Boy got the rights to promote this fight with a bid of $200,000 USD and as of today he will have ten working days to make the 10% deposit with the WBC Headquarters.

Besides the winning promoter, other two promoters participated: Prestige, a Mexican company headed by Dr. Fausto Daniel Garcia, and North American promoter Sycuan.Avel Gonzalez, of Miami, Florida, and member of the WBC Board of Governors supervised the purse offer.

Approximately half an hour after the purse offer, the WBC Executive Office received the visit of the world superbantam champion Israel Vazquez, being one of the first to know the outcome of the purse offer.
